Back Forty Texas BBQ Roadhouse & Saloon will be hosting a comedy fundraiser honoring Pia Bouvia Carlson on Thursday, September 26 at 8:00pm.
Pia was the Marketing Director at Back Forty who sadly lost her battle with breast cancer. Since Pia was a single parent with two daughters, all profits from the door and ticket sales will be going to their trust fund.
This night of laughs will be hosted by Pat McCoy will special guest David Lew along with Headliners Jeff Applebaum and Jammin’ Jay Lamont (Pia’s favorite comedian).
A native New Yorker, Jeff Applebaum made his national TV debut on CBS on “The Late Late Show” with Craig Ferguson. Jeff has also appeared on “Comics Unleashed”, America’s Got Talent on NBC, and has opened for comedy legends Dana Carvey and Robin Williams.
Jammin’ Jay Lamont, also know as the human iPod, grew up in Oklahoma as a preacher’s son who loved making all kinds of sounds to make people laugh. A master impressionist, singer, and comedian, Jay can perform in front of any audience with versatility and talent that has knows no bounds. His amazing impressions of various people from Bee Gees, Barry White, Michael Jackson, Garth Brooks, and Barack Obama have been making people laugh all over the country. Jay has been seen on Comedy Central, BET’s “Comic View”, and Showtime at the Apollo as well as Princes, Celebrity, and Disney Cruise lines. Come see why Jay is Pia’s favorite!
